And with that said I’ll holla at y’all! Getting off social media for the time being. Y’all take care ✌🏾👑

The reason for this sudden decision evidently stems from all the negativity received from the media.
As a few minutes before, he responded, "AMEN!!" to a long tweet that read:
"With so much hate and negativity in the world today, it confuses me why some of National sports media still think that the best way to cover sports is through negative takes..."

To point out, fans are quite used to LeBron taking breaks from social media, as in the past he would activate "Zero Dark Thirty-23" mode. This would include him getting off of Instagram/X (formerly known as Twitter) ahead of the NBA playoffs, to put all of his focus into winning a championship.
However, considering the NBA is currently just in the first half of the regular season, it is a little bit early for that.
Nevertheless, LeBron is already in his 22nd NBA season, so he certainly knows what is best for his mental and physical being.
To note, the NBA's all-time leading scorer is averaging 23.5 points (51.5% FG, 41.6% 3PT), 9.4 assists, and 8.1 rebounds this season. And now after defeating the Utah Jazz on Tuesday night, the Lakers are currently 2-0 in the In-Season Tournament and third overall in the Western Conference standings (10-4).
