LeBron James makes decision on where he'll play next season

He just made one fanbase pretty happy.

The only way Kevin Durant wasn't going to be the biggest name in free agency this summer was if LeBron James stole his thunder (all the puns intended) and decided to opt out of his contract with the intention of signing elsewhere. It looks like the hero of Cleveland has decided to squash any of those potential rumors with this quote he gave to Cleveland.com.

From Cleveland.com's Joe Vardon:

"I love it here. I love being here. I love my teammates," James told cleveland.com, moments before he boarded a float at The Q for the Cavs' championship parade through downtown Cleveland. "Obviously my agent will take care of all the logistical things but, I'm happy. I've got no plans to go nowhere at this point."

James signed a two-year deal last summer with the option of opting out of the second year (this year). It sounds like he will do that, but with the intention of making more money as the salary cap is expected to expand to $94 million this year. Naturally, with James back in Cleveland, the Cavaliers would likely be favorites to win the title again.
