ESPN Says Rumors Have Been Going Around About LeBron Leaving LA
Back in February, reports were circulating around the league that the Golden State Warriors had pursued a trade for Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James ahead of last season's trade deadline. James and his team shut the idea down, claiming he was committed to his post with the Purple and Gold.

But on Friday (Nov 6.) ESPN's Brian Windhorst revealed that there were rumblings this season about a trade that sends the 4x champion to the Bay.
"I'm very interested in all of this ... I'd be lying if I said that there (hasn't) been some conversations in the league with LeBron at some point this year, like...revisit that. Because you remember at the trade deadline last year, the Warriors called," Windhorst said.
ESPN's senior insider mentioned that there is a hefty price for both teams to pay if there are any serious considerations for the move.
LeBron Claims He Wants to Be a Laker
Rumors about LeBron James making a switch to Golden State sparked after he and Warriors star Stephen Curry briefly joined forces on last summer's Olympic squad. The chemistry that the duo displayed throughout the tournament led to media speculation about a possible team up in the NBA.
Windhorst added that James has reiterated multiple times that he wants to stay with the Lakers.
"... So, I would just say that twice in the last 10 months, LeBron has had an opportunity to leave the Lakers. One, at the trade deadline last year when the Warriors called. The Lakers went to LeBron and said, 'Do you seriously wanna get traded?' He said, 'No.' Last summer he became a free agent. He re-signed with the Lakers."
