LeBron James took his time to get an extension with the Cleveland Cavaliers, and he's certainly earning his share over the next three years.
James took advantage of the massive cap spike this offseason to ink such a massive extension. The best player in the world will be locked up for the next three seasons or so in hopes of bringing not one, not two, not three, but maybe four titles to Cleveland.
All that stands in his way is Kevin Durant and his new super friends in Golden State.
James averaged 23 points, seven rebounds and nearly seven assists per game last season, leading Cleveland back from a 3-1 NBA Finals deficit to win the championship. James will only be 34 at the end of his latest extension.
