Patrick Beverley shut down Lonzo Ball in the rookie's disastrous NBA debut.

One night after he shot 1-of-6 for three points and pulled down nine rebounds, Ball bounced back against the Phoenix Suns in a way his father is certainly boasting about.

Ball shot 12-of-27 for 29 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and was one assist shy of a triple-double. He looked much more comfortable with the ball, and showed confidence in his ball movement and shooting.

Thanks to Ball's big effort, the Lakers held on for the 132-130 victory.
