Watch: Every Mac McClung Dunk From Historical NBA Slam Dunk Three-Peat Performance

G-League star Mac McClung may single-handedly be saving the NBA Slam Dunk contest, as he now becomes the first player ever to win in three consecutive years.

That is, McClung has only played in 70 minutes throughout his NBA career, and currently makes 500k a year on a two-way contract, yet the barely 6-foot tall white boy dominates the competition every time he participates.

In view of this year's contest, McClung put up four perfect dunks, and started the night off by doing his best Blake Griffin impression... jumping over a Kia.

Then for his second dunk, he leaped over his friend before doing a 180 spin in mid-air.

In the final round, McClung cleared his friend who was spinning on a hoverboard, then dunked two basketballs at once.

To mention, San Antonio Spurs rookie Stephen Castle (2025 Rising Stars MVP) also put on a dazzling performance as he posted a score of 99.6 in the final round.

Nevertheless, it wasn't enough to take down McClung, who soared over Cleveland Cavs star Evan Mobley before hitting the ball off the rim and throwing it down for his final dunk.

With this legendary performance, McClung is now the first player to three-peat in the NBA Slam Dunk contest (2023-2025).

Other players to win back-to-back titles include: Michael Jordan (1987-88), Jason Richardson (2002-03), Nate Robinson (2009-10) and Zach LaVine (2015-16).

Many believe putting up yet another perfect 50-point per dunk performance solidifies McClung as one of the best all-time dunkers in NBA history.

While some point out, he can't be in the same conversation with legends, such as Julius Irving (Dr. J) or Vince Carter, because he has only appeared in five NBA games.

All in all, the 2023-2024 G League MVP has garnered attention from other stars around the league, as Memphis Grizzlies high-flyer Ja Morant tweeted out on X during the dunk contest: "Mac might make me decide to dunk."

Then Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo added, "If you do it. I'll do it with you."

Fans certainly wouldn't mind seeing Giannis, Morant, McClung, and maybe even Zion Williamson, or former participants LaVine and Aaron Gordon, go head-to-head during 2026 All-Star weekend in Los Angeles.

When asked if he was going to retire, the 3x champion responded: "This might be it for me, but we'll see, if they want me back bad enough, I'll think about it."
