The Memphis Grizzlies just received some pretty bad news. Their star center Marc Gasol has been diagnosed with a broken foot and will be out indefinitely.
He's been huge for the struggling Grizzlies this season as the team is only 30-22 and still can't seem to score —- averaging only about 98 points per game. This stat shows just how important he's been for the Grizzlies since he's been there.
Gasol has been averaging 16.6 points, seven rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.3 blocks per game this season. He's shooting 46 percent from the floor and 83 percent from the free throw line. The Grizzlies could take a serious slide defensively if Gasol can't finish the season at all.
