In view of the charges brought against Marcus, the 34-year-old is currently facing: one felony count of ketamine possession, one misdemeanor count of DUI with property damage, and one misdemeanor count of resisting an officer.

That is, when appearing in court last month, Jordan pleaded "not guilty" to each of these charges.

Within this case though, court documents revealed that Jordan has been facing "challenges related to his alcohol/substance use" (per TMZ).

This comes after last summer when paparazzi caught him snorting a white powdery substance while on vacation in the south of France.

With this in mind, Marcus is hoping to overcome his addiction, as he even urged a judge to order him to complete "Pre-Trial Substance Abuse Education" and a "Treatment Intervention Program."

TMZ reported, "Jordan's attorneys argued the program would 'not only benefit him personally but also serve the community by reducing the likelihood of future offenses.'"

In the court documents, it stated Marcus "is amenable to treatment."

All in all, many are hoping the son of the Chicago Bulls legend can get the help he needs.
