We all know that Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban likes to run his mouth and that he says what he feels is right. He thought it was right to call out ESPN's Chris Broussard for erroneous reporting during the DeAndre Jordan saga on Wednesday night. Broussard originally tweeted this out to show how desperate Cuban was to find Jordan for a meeting they were supposed to have.
Cuban's response on Thursday was not a kind one and he let Broussard have it.
This isn't the first time Broussard has messed up his reporting during free agency. Back in 2012 he reported that Eric Gordon was signing a deal with the Suns and tried to pass it off as if it was original information when in fact it was a public statement that had already been made. He also completely ignored Deron Williams signing with the Brooklyn Nets despite the fact they were holding a press conference for it.
And after last night's tweet, even Brian Cuban —- Mark's brother —- chimed in and just said what everyone was thinking.
And Broussard tried to defend himself, but really to no avail.
If there's any way he can get some credibility back, it would be to reveal his sources who were apparently riding along with Cuban in the car or receiving calls from him.
