The NBA announced on Monday that they fined Edwards $75,000, citing the infraction as "public criticism of the officiating and using inappropriate and profane language."

After the Wolves' 113-103 loss against the Golden State Warriors on Saturday, the two-time All-Star ripped into officials Sean Wright and Sean Corbin for their 'f***ing terrible' officiating.
"The s—t was terrible," Edwards told reporters. "They don't want to talk back to my coach, they don't want to talk back to me. I said one thing to the ref, and he gave me a tech. Motherf—ker told one of my teammates if I would have said 'y'all calling a bad foul' he would have given me a tech."
Anthony Edwards added that while the officiating has been bad all season, Saturday night's performance left even more to be desired. He also went on to explain how he's had to change up his play style because his physicality in the paint prevents refs from giving him the benefit of the doubt.
"Everybody keeps saying, 'Play through it, play through it.' It's easy to say that when you're not dealing with it, so that's what's frustrating."
Minnesota's Offensive Struggles Continue to Cast Doubts Over Postseason Hopes
The 23-year-old's frustration is understandable considering this time last year his squad was sitting atop a cutthroat Western Conference and hadn't even reached double digit losses. Though there is still plenty of basketball to play, Minnesota's 12-for-44 first half performance illustrates an offensive struggle that could ultimately put them on the outside looking in come playoff time.
Anthony Edwards has remained efficient to start his fifth year in the league, averaging 25.6 points on 44.8/42.1/80.5 shooting splits.
