According to Lori Fullbright of News On 6 in Tulsa (via Larry Brown Sports), Singler was arrested this week in Haskell County, Oklahoma, on a charge of domestic violence. The 37-year-old has faced several personal challenges in recent years, and few details have been released about this latest incident.

Singler, who retired from basketball in 2019, raised concern last year when he posted a series of disturbing videos on social media. In those clips, a shirtless Singler claimed he had been "mistreated and abused [and] neglected" and said he feared for his life "every day."

The videos prompted an outpouring of support from across the basketball world, including messages from Kevin Love, Andre Drummond, Chandler Parsons, and Isaiah Thomas, all urging him to get help.

A former Duke star, Singler was named Most Outstanding Player of the 2010 Final Four after leading the Blue Devils to a national title.

He later spent six seasons in the NBA with the Pistons and Thunder, averaging 6.5 points and 2.9 rebounds before finishing his career overseas.

It's been a difficult post-playing chapter for Singler, whose story once symbolized college basketball success. For now, his legal situation remains unclear — but his recent history suggests a man still struggling long after the final buzzer.
