According to TMZ, the incident unfolded Saturday night at the exclusive Zero Bond club during a Raising Cane's event attended by athletes, musicians and social media personalities.
TMZ reports the situation began when a man was allegedly recording Travis Scott while he was talking with another guest. Scott reportedly confronted the individual, and members of his entourage allegedly began throwing bottles inside the club.
Clarkson, according to TMZ's source, stepped in to try to de-escalate the situation rather than escalate it. Even so, both Scott and Clarkson were ultimately escorted from the venue, with police also responding to the scene.
The incident came just weeks after Clarkson helped the New York Knicks capture the franchise's first NBA championship in more than five decades.
The celebrity-filled event also included appearances by 50 Cent, Tate McRae, Alix Earle, and Jake and Logan Paul, with 50 Cent performing before the night took an unexpected turn.
TMZ said it reached out to representatives for Scott, Clarkson, Zero Bond and the NYPD for comment but had not received responses.
