The NBA is officially back and that means the greatest show on television has returned for yet another season. Inside the NBA is truly the best of all worlds, from hoops to pop culture to general shenanigans, and there is never a dull moment.

For those unfamiliar, the TNT show hosted by Ernie Johnson features Basketball Hall of Fame players Shaquille O'Neal and Charles Barkley, and former NBA star Kenny "The Jet" Smith. The foursome alone is pure comedy, and a new segment debuted late Tuesday night after the Golden State Warriors beat the Oklahoma City Thunder was downright hysterical.
"Dear Inside" is designed to give fans "helpful" life advice. But when the first question of the season had nothing to do with basketball and everything to do about "manscaping," well, it turned wild.

First and foremost, this segment could not have had a better start given everyone's personalities. It was the right amount of awkward, with the video question featuring a man with shaving cream all over his face, and the specific answers are perfect.
Shaq, in a crazy pinstripe suit, is all about that life, while Kenny tried to justify the proper terminology. Then Charles shared a ridiculous story, because of course Charles had a ridiculous story before EJ ignored the question altogether and acted like he was walking off the set.
What was supposed to be 20th anniversary show for Kenny Smith turned into the right amount of mayhem, and for good reason.
Of course, the crew still broke down the games where the Boston Celtics beat the Philadelphia 76ers in an early showdown of Eastern Conference powers and the defending champion Warriors came from behind to beat the Thunder, who were without All-Star guard Russell Westbrook.
If this is how things will go all season, Inside the NBA might even convince the casual fan to tune in every single week like the rest of us.
