After the news broke there were a lot of reactions from fans, who weren't necessarily sad to see D-Lo go. Among them is former Lakers star Nick Young, who certainly has history with Russell.

That is, Young took to social media to send him a message:

"AND STAY OUT... Dnt bring yo a- back to LA," the 39-year-old wrote on X.

As many know, back during the 2016 season, Russell secretly recorded a conversation with Young when they were in a hotel room together.

And in the video, Young, who was dating Australian model/rapper Iggy Azalea at the time, had been heard confessing to being with other girls.

Young seemingly had no idea this private conversation was being recorded, as at the end of filming the clip Russell was heard saying, "I'm glad you told my video all that," in which Swaggy P responded "huh?"

Ultimately, the video was leaked and Azalea broke up with Young following this incident.

And as one could imagine, the one-time friends now became foes, which caused problems in the locker room.

Fast forward eight years and Young certainly has not forgotten any of this.

To point out, after the Lakers were eliminated from the playoffs in a first round exit last season, he blamed Russell.

"They put their faith in the snitch, and the snitch let you down," Young said in a VladTv interview.
