Nick Young plans to save Lakers' season with Kobe Bryant's year over

After discovering Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant had a torn rotator cuff, the team elected for him to undergo surgery.

By opting for surgery, Bryant's season is over early yet again:

UPDATE:

Bryant is expected to be out nine months as he recovers from surgery according to a team-issued press release.

But while the Lakers were taking time to focus on the guard's future, Nick Young was busy planning his own.

Just one day after being benched because he looked like he "didn't want to be here," according to head coach Byron Scott, Swaggy P has just the plan to save the Lakers' season:

Young is averaging a career-high 14 points per game on 39 percent shooting from 3 and 37 percent shooting from the floor. If Los Angeles follows Young's plan, Lakers fans could be in for a wild ride.
