While on his recent episode of The Pat Bev Pod, Beverley said he was forced to take an astounding 11 drug tests after one of his games.

"I've been playing great basketball, we've been playing great basketball. We won 4 in a row, we just beat Jerusalem in Jerusalem, that was a vibe. After the game, I got drug tested and had to take 11 drug tests. 11 drug tests! Y'all heard me 11 drug tests," Beverley said.

The repeated tests were apparently due to the fact that he had "too much water" in his system the first 10 times he urinated in the cup.

The plausible cause for this is that the 36 year old is participating in Yom Kippur, that includes a fast that runs from October 11 to October 12, commemorating the holiest day of the year in Judaism, which focuses on atonement and repentance.

Essentially, while Beverley was taking part in this, he couldn't eat or drink anything, not even water.

"I don't think y'all hear me... I had to piss in a cup 11 times," Beverley emphasized. "I was there till four o'clock in the morning. I got home from Jerusalem at 5:14. We had an eight o'clock in the morning flight, in the game the next day. I got another dub, so Eurovibe has been fun."

As he stated, right after one of his games on October 13, win vs. Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem (85-72), he was drug tested until 4 am. Then he had to catch a flight that morning to attend his next EuroCup game, in which his team also won vs. Dreamland Gran Canaria (79-66).

All in all, after playing 12 seasons in the NBA as a role player (career 8.3 ppg), Beverley has become a star playing overseas, while leading Tel Aviv in almost every statistical category, averaging 14.8 points, 6.3 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 2.5 steals.

That is to say, his team is currently in second place in the EuroCup standings with a 3-1 record. The next time Beverley takes the court will be when Tel Aviv plays an Israeli Basketball Premier League game vs. Bnei Herzliya on Saturday.
