The former girlfriend of the 2x All-Star, Jane Doe, claims to be the victim of rape and physical abuse during their relationship (2018-2023), and has filed a civil lawsuit.

According to the plaintiff, in fall of 2020, Zion moved to Beverley Hills California to focus on training, and it was around this time an alleged incident took place (September 23, 2020), according to the court filings by Jane Doe's attorney, Mark Lanier.

Lanier states the accuser was picked up by Williamson's agent, and taken to the NBA player's home. However, after Williamson showed up hours later, things took a turn for the worse.

Jane Doe said she wanted to go to sleep because she was tired. Allegedly, Williamson called her "stuck up" and a "b****," and told her "she could not go to sleep without having sex with him."

When the woman said, "no," the lawsuit says Williamson pinned her down on the bed and sexually assaulted her. Following this, Williamson allegedly threw her phone and then choked and yelled at her for "talking too much."

Other incidents were outlined in the suit, as a couple weeks later (October 10, 2020), Jane Doe alleges Williamson raped her again because he got upset when she wanted to leave him to visit friends in San Diego.

The lawsuit stated that Williamson "continued to abuse, rape, assault, and batter Plaintiff in California and other states, including Louisiana and Texas, until the relationship ended in 2023."

According to the alleged victim, strangulation was used by the defendant, "with such force that she reasonably feared for her life and eventually lost consciousness ... multiple times between 2020 and 2023 in California and Louisiana."

Furthermore, there were also allegedly multiple threats made against the woman. Jane Doe claims Williamson threatened to have his security guard shoot her in the head "multiple times," while also alleging Williamson threatened to have his security kill her parents as well.

Per the suit, in 2022, Williamson pointed a loaded firearm at the woman's head, "causing her to reasonably fear for her life."

As for incidents of physical abuse, the accuser claimed that Williamson kicked and beat her, while also trying to "intentionally imprison her" in a car until he transported her to a different location.

Specifically, one story was highlighted where Williamson, in attempt to not allow Jane Doe escape the vehicle, closed the door on her head to make her lose consciousness.

All in all, the accusations are alarming to say the least.

In response to the lawsuit, Zion's attorney has released a statement on the matter.

"Mr. Williamson and the plaintiff never dated, but did maintain a consensual, casual relationship that began more than six years ago, when he was 18 years old."

"...At no point during or immediately after that relationship did the plaintiff raise any concerns. Only after the friendship ended did she begin demanding millions of dollars."

"The allegations contained in the complaint are categorically false and reckless."

Williamson has reported these allegations as extortion attempts, while citing that he and his legal team will intend to countersue, seeking damages for the defamatory lawsuit.

Zion has played in 214 games throughout his five-year career in the NBA, which fans have pointed out may be in jeopardy if the 24-year-old superstar is found guilty of committing any of the accused crimes.
