Philadelphia 76ers Star Paul George Says Journalists Should Be Barred From Locker Rooms When Players Are Changing: ‘They Are Looking At Us’

While on his Podcast P with Paul George Show, the 14-year NBA vet opened up about experiencing a lack of privacy when changing.

"I would say majority of the locker room, bro, they're naked [when reporters come in]," George said. "Like, we're in towels. We're naked. We just got out the shower. And then you have these reporters in there and, like, they're not staring at a wall, you know what I mean?"

"They're looking at us," he emphasized.

George then went on to specifically point out a reporter in Washington, who was known to be a 'peeping Tom.'

This guy allegedly would, "stare at dudes' meat while they're in towels or while they're changing."

Not only this, he went on to mention that most of the journalists are known to be nosy, as they listen in on conversations in an attempt to spark rumored reports.

"I just think it's just our place of privacy," George said. "It should be treated as that. It shouldn't be nobody in that space."

Heading into the 2024-25 season, the nine-time All-Star will be playing alongside Joel Embiid on the new-and-improved 76ers squad, as they project to be a top team in the Eastern Conference, with George vying for his first championship.

Nevertheless, the 34-year-old former Clippers star will be sidelined to start the season, as he suffered a bone bruise after hyperextending his knee in a preseason game vs. the Hawks.

In view of George's career so far, he has put up 20.8 points (44% FG; 38.5% 3PT), 6.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.7 steals.
