The Phoenix Suns entered the NBA season with big names and high expectations. Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal were really supposed to take them places.

Well, they took them somewhere — namely, to a sweep by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round of the NBA playoffs. That, folks, is what's known as a major flop.
Suns fans everywhere were either wildly disappointed or flat-out enraged. Some just got drunk.
The last two games of the series to forget came in Phoenix. So the Suns weren't just swept, their season came to an unceremonious end in front of the home fans. And again, some just couldn't handle it, man.
One grown-man-of-a-fan caught on video may have spoken for all of them, when he repeatedly screamed "I love' em, I love 'em, I love 'em," loudly and repeatedly in the face of a female who, from the looks of things, made the lousy decision to attend the game with this dude.
We can only hope that he was drunk and this isn't his normal behavior. The video shows it's a little bit, you know, over the top.

As for the team's future ... well, who knows? Right now, they appear to be a mess. Apparently, team owner Mat Ishbia hasn't done them any favors since taking over the franchise in the middle of last season.
"It's like looney tunes around here," one Suns source told Hoops Wire. "It's felt unstable since (Ishbia) arrived. He's a good guy and everything, I think, but he's just very involved. Too involved. I know he played (college basketball at Michigan State), but I'd venture to say he has no idea what he's doing when it comes to basketball. Yet he's making a lot of the big decisions."
Looney tunes? Oh, you'd better believe it. Just check out the fans.
