Report: LeBron and Irving chemistry basically "nonexistent" on the court

Uh oh...

LeBron James and Kyrie Irving are having a pretty great season with the Cleveland Cavaliers as they have led the Eastern Conference basically all season and it looks like they will be cruising to the Eastern Conference Finals if not the NBA Finals. The Cavs are 44-18 and are 2.5 games ahead of the Toronto Raptors. However, it's not all peaches and cream according to The Vertical's Chris Mannix.

Kyrie Irving and LeBron James have a great relationship, but can't seem to get it together on the court. A clear example was a terrible loss to a depleted Memphis Grizzlies team that only suited up eight guys! The Grizz won 106-103 with James and Irving in the lineup.

One scout who saw Cleveland play recently said that the chemistry was "basically nonexistent." Team sources insist the relationship is solid, that James is simply teaching, trying to raise Irving's basketball IQ. No one understands Irving's importance more than James, team sources told The Vertical, which is why no one is working harder than James to get the two All-Stars on the same page.

This team is also struggling to get Kevin Love involved as he's only connecting on 23.5 percent of his 3's since the All-Star break and coach Tyronn Lue is not giving him fourth quarter minutes to try and break out of it. This team could find itself in some disappointing waters if they don't win a ring again this season.
