Eccentric and outspoken owner of the NBA's Dallas Mavericks Mark Cuban has officially done the dumbest thing possible. According to reports, he has taken credentials from ESPN writers Tim MacMahon and Marc Stein. Neither reporter has been allowed to attend games since Friday, meaning they missed Friday and Sunday's games.

MacMahon's role has changed at ESPN as he has become a more general national writer instead of being solely devoted to the Mavericks. Cuban had expressed his unhappiness with the position change for MacMahon and now it seems he's taking out his anger on the two beat writers rather than ESPN itself.
To make matters worse, Cuban kept acting like a totally arrogant jerk when asked about the media ban:
ESPN moving away from full-time Mavericks coverage might have something to do with the team not being very good since that magical 2011 title run. Cuban will undoubtedly spin it another way to make himself look more favorable, but there's no public relations win that can come from this.
