Steph Curry has had one of the most phenomenal NBA seasons in recent memory leading the league in scoring at 30.1 points per game. He also averaged a league-high 2.1 steals per game while dishing out 6.7 assists a game and grabbing 5.4 rebounds per game as a point guard. The MVP award hasn't been handed out yet, but ESPN's Marc Stein is reporting it will be given to the man who we all thought would get it anyway.

Curry also led the Warriors to a league-record 73 wins while breaking his own record three-pointers made in a regular season with 402. He also joined an exclusive club that only his coach is apart of and that's the 50-45-90 club. That means he shot 50 percent from the floor, 45 percent from beyond the arc and 90 percent from the free throw line.
I'm not really sure why the NBA is waiting so long to give him the award considering we all know he's going to win it anyway. He will likely join the likes of LeBron James, Steve Nash and Tim Duncan as the only back-to-back winners of the MVP award.
