Report: Suns Are Fielding Offers For Kevin Durant, Warriors Seeking Reunion

"Phoenix, entering Monday's business, continued to signal that it does not plan to move Durant before the deadline, sources said, but the Suns are believed to be listening at the very least to various teams' pitches for the 35-year-old scoring legend. Durant, meanwhile, is said to be aware of all this."

Considering this, there are hopes of a possible reunion, as the team that has shown the most interest in KD is his former team the Golden State Warriors.

In view of the recent NBA trade deadline acquisitions, that included De'Aaron Fox being sent to San Antonio, and Luka Doncic being traded to the LA Lakers for Anthony Davis, Durant spoke to the media.

"This got to be the biggest trade I've seen since I've been in the league or since I've been watching the sport," Durant said about the Luka/AD trade following the Suns' Saturday night loss vs. the Portland Trailblazers.

Durant pointed out that no one is safe from being dealt.

"For sure. You start seeing stuff like that, as an organization, you might get a little more courage to do some stuff. You see another team trade away somebody like that," he said. "It's pretty wild times, especially around the time of the NBA trade deadline. Everyone's gonna be watching their phones the next week."

Notably, Durant has been ridiculed by fans and the media when he jumped ship from the Oklahoma City Thunder to join the 73-9 Golden State Warriors following the 2015-16 season, the same year he was up 3-1 and lost 4-3 to Stephen Curry & company in the 2016 Western Conference Finals.

"Players are held to a different standard of loyalty and commitment to a program but the organizations don't get held to that same standard from the outside," the 2x champion said.

As the February 6 deadline is approaching, some teams are certainly trying to make moves to put themselves in position to be contenders for a post All-Star break playoff push.

Kevin Durant, who is averaging 26.9 points per game this season, is certainly capable of providing any team in the NBA a chance to win it all.
