Rick Fox may be long removed from his NBA days, but the old enforcer mentality is still very much there.

The former Los Angeles Lakers forward and actor found himself in the middle of a heated scene this week at a campaign event in the Bahamas, where he is currently running for office. Video from the incident shows Fox and his campaign manager, Carlyle Bethel, in a tense exchange with a man over where their tent was set up.
Things escalated quickly.
At one point, Fox questioned why they needed to move. The response came back aggressive and dismissive, with the man saying he did not care about any rules. That was enough to spark a reaction.
Fox lunged toward the man before Bethel stepped in to hold him back. Moments later, Fox pushed his own manager away, clearly fired up as the situation unfolded.
He then turned toward the camera, which captured everything, flexing and saying, "Right here for y'all, all day long."

Fox later addressed the incident, saying he was defending himself and his team after what he described as serious threats.
According to Fox, both he and his manager were threatened during the dispute. He added that he was simply standing up to what he called bullying, comparing it to his playing days when he took on the role of protector for his teammates.
The situation did not turn physical beyond the initial confrontation.
Fox's campaign continues, with the election decision coming in the weeks ahead.
