Rudy Gobert Responds To Shaquille O'Neal Calling Him The Worst NBA Player Of All-Time

While doing a sit-down interview with his son Myles O'Neal, Shaq was asked who is the "WOAT" NBA player, which stands for the "Worst Of All-Time," and he wasted no time answering right away, as the Big Aristotle said "Rudy Gobert."

Shaq backed up his comments by stating the reason is because he feels the 7-foot Frenchman hasn't lived up to his five-year $205 million dollar contract.

"There's a reason why I walk funny, why I can't turn my neck and why I can't do it because I played for my 120 [million]," Shaq said. "So you got guys like him that f*** the system over there making all this money and they can't f***ing play. So I don't respect guys like that."

That is to say, Gobert obviously didn't take this very well, and shot back at the hall of famer on social media.

"It is sad to see someone that has accomplished as much as you did @SHAQ both in sport and business still be triggered by another man's finances and accomplishments."

All in all, this is definitely not the first time that Shaq mentioned Gobert, as he has criticized him for years, calling him 'soft' and 'overpaid.'

When comparing the two big men and their NBA playing careers, Gobert, 32, is a four-time Defensive Player of the Year winner, who has played 11 seasons averaging 12.7 points (65.5% FG), 11.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists to go with 2.1 blocks.

Then in view of Shaq's legendary 19-year career, he is a four-time NBA champion that averaged 23.7 points (58.2% FG), 10.9 rebounds and 2.3 blocks.
