Unable to agree on details of a contract early in free agency pushed the Miami Heat lifer to check out the open market, and there might just be a fit with old friend LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

After initially being lowballed with a one-year, $10 million deal, the Heat have reportedly offered Wade a two-year, $40 million deal. But it might not be good enough.
From the man who broke the news of James meeting with Cleveland owner Dan Gilbert in 2014 comes a loose story of the Cavaliers check signer, James and Wade taking a plane ride together to Cleveland.

Wade is reportedly still slated to meet with the up-and-coming Milwaukee Bucks:

In need of making a move after Kevin Durant's shift to the Golden State Warriors, we very well could have a Marvel vs Avengers type NBA Finals next season.
Whether this is just coincidence or a true meeting of the minds, Wade's possible exit to Cleveland could be payback for James' stint in Miami.
And if he does bounce, Wade would likely face a similar backlash fans from the Cavaliers handed James not so long ago.
