According to multiple reports, a 17-year-old was injured in a shooting near Times Square as thousands of fans poured into the streets following the Knicks' win.

Law enforcement officials said the incident occurred near 43rd Street and Broadway amid large postgame crowds.

Reports indicate the teenager was transported to a hospital by police after emergency vehicles struggled to reach the area because of the size of the gathering.

Authorities also reportedly recovered a firearm at the scene and took three people into custody as the investigation continued.

The shooting was not the only incident reported during the celebrations.

According to law enforcement accounts, several stabbings and slashings were also reported throughout Manhattan as crowds remained in the streets for hours after the game.

Officials further reported damage to multiple school buses, with some vehicles allegedly vandalized or set on fire during the unrest.

Videos and photos circulating on social media showed large groups of fans gathering throughout Times Square and other parts of the city following the Knicks' victory. Many celebrated peacefully, but authorities say crowd control became increasingly difficult as the night continued.

Officials are now investigating a series of incidents that reportedly unfolded during the aftermath of Game 5, including the shooting that left one teenager injured.

The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities have not yet released additional details regarding possible charges.
