Dillon Brooks isn't backing down. In fact, he's leaning all the way in.

The Phoenix Suns swingman said this week he wanted a shot at the Golden State Warriors in the NBA play-in tournament, and he made it clear why.
"I would like to see the Warriors," Brooks said, via Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic. "Steph and Draymond. And Steve Kerr."
That means Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and head coach Steve Kerr were all on his radar.
Hours later, Brooks got exactly what he asked for.
The Warriors took care of business against the Los Angeles Clippers in the 9/10 play-in game, setting up a Friday showdown with the Suns. The winner grabs the West's No. 8 seed. The loser goes home.
And if history is any indication, this one won't be quiet.
Brooks has a long-running feud with Golden State that stretches back to his days with the Memphis Grizzlies. That includes a heated 2022 playoff series that featured a controversial flagrant foul and plenty of tension with Kerr.
There's also his ongoing back-and-forth with Green, plus another playoff meeting last year when Brooks was with the Houston Rockets.
Even this season, Brooks drew criticism for a hard foul on Curry that reignited the drama.
Now, the stage is set again. Brooks wanted the Warriors. He's getting them. And chances are, the fireworks won't take long to follow.
