Rajon Rondo and Rick Carlisle's argument didn't end on the court.
According to ESPN, it trickled over into the locker room:
"Rondo and Carlisle had another emotionally charged dispute in the locker room after the game, sources told ESPNDallas.com, and the Mavs subsequently announced Rondo's suspension a little more than two hours before Wednesday's tipoff."
Point guard Rajon Rondo is known for clashing every once in awhile with coaches.
Things finally boiled over in Dallas Tuesday night, when Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle appeared to want Rondo to run a play, the guard looked to ignore him and the coach called a timeout:
And as you can see in the video above, neither of the two appreciated each other's sentiments during the break.
Rondo never returned to the game, and after the contest the guard left without speaking to media.
He'll be an unrestricted free agent this summer, and could walk after experiencing a difficult time in his short time in Dallas.
