Paul Pierce has had one of the most incredible and longest lasting careers in the NBA. He's gone to 10 All-Star Games, been named a Finals MVP, has made the All-NBA team four times and was the Rookie of the Year for the 1998-99 season. Now he's going to call it quits after this season as revealed by a post he wrote on The Players' Tribune.

He also posted a video about his time in the NBA and what he thinks about his current team (Los Angeles Clippers) and how he hopes to go out on top.
Pierce will play in his 19th season this year after averaging 20 points, 3.6 assists and 5.7 rebounds per game over the course of his career. He's shot about 37 percent from three-point territory and 44.5 percent from the floor overall and will get one more season to keep those numbers going.
