"She had leave-in conditioner in her hair," he said, via TMZ. "One of those Smokey the Bear hats, bodysuit, Good American jeans."
Nearly a decade later, the level of detail caught the host off guard. It wasn't just the moment. It was everything around it.
That part stood out.
The relationship itself didn't exactly follow the same script. Thompson and Kardashian had a high-profile run that included two kids together, daughter True and son Tatum, before things unraveled in 2021.
The breakup came after multiple cheating scandals and the revelation that Thompson had fathered a child with another woman. Since then, it's been about co-parenting.
Still, the memory stuck.
