Their mother, Andrea, died suddenly in January 2023, leaving Thompson to step in and take on a much larger role in Amari's care. Since then, he's been the primary figure supporting his brother day to day.
According to the filing, Thompson is also requesting oversight of Amari's records and certain personal interactions, all part of what's described as a broader effort to ensure his well-being.
