Two Steelers teammates were fined, showing yet again the NFL has lost its mind

This is getting out of hand.

First, it was Cameron Heyward, who was hit wit a ridiculous fine for writing on his eye black. Now it's teammates DeAngelo Williams and William Gay who have been fined for equally ludicrous issues:

Williams had the message "We will find a cure" written on his eye black and got hit with a fine:

His teammate, William Gay, got hit with a fine as well:

So Gay got clearance from the league when he played for the Vikings, but since purple isn't in Pittsburgh's colors, he got a fine.

Doesn't the NFL have better things to worry about, like Tom Brady and whether he was deflating footballs (sarcasm). This is getting ridiculous.
