Tyronn Lue is already stepping on toes as new head coach

That's not good for the Cavs.

Tyronn Lue is taking over as the head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers and he is already trying to completely change the way the Cavs are playing. The team averages a pretty slow pace and is 28th in the league in that regard and was 25th last year. Lue wants this team to get up and down the floor pretty quick and when they didn't do that against the Chicago Bulls, Lue called the team out.

"I don't think we're in good enough shape," Lue said, via scout.com's Hayden Grove. "I think early we wanted to push it, we wanted to open the floor. I think we came out and did that, and then I think we dropped off the map. I think we got tired. Bron came out early, Ky wanted to come out early, Kevin wanted to come out early, so I just don't think we're in good enough shape right now to play the style we want to play."

I think when he says "we" he really means "I" because there is no way those guys want to make this drastic a change so late in the season. It's all well and good if Lue wants to call out the team for playing poorly in his debut —- a 96-83 loss to the Bulls —- that's fine. You can't get angry at a team for not being able to turn off a style switch halfway through the season though. It looks like Lue has some learning to do on the job as the season rolls on.
