Despite not being at this press conference, Kobe Bryant sure made his presence felt by the newest Lakers. When asked if they had been contacted by Bryant, it didn't seem Brandon Bass, Roy Hibbert, or Lou Williams had any sort of contact with him.
That was one the longest and most awkward silent pauses I have ever (not) heard. I know he's a superstar, but he couldn't take the time to text one of these guys, "Hey man! Welcome to the team!" This might be one of the reasons people have been saying no one wants to play with Kobe.
