Zach LaVine, Victor Oladipo bring life to struggling Slam Dunk Contest

In recent years, the Slam Dunk Contest has fallen off a bit.

Once the premier event of All-Star weekend, there hasn't been much special about the contest.

That all changed Saturday night, when Minnesota Timberwolves guard Zach LaVine and Orlando Magic guard Victor Oladipo absolutely tore the house down.

First, Oladipo entered the court singing "New York, New York," before throwing down a ridiculous 360 (or 540, depending on who you ask) dunk:

Obviously Twitter lost its mind:

Then, LaVine entered the court to the Space Jam theme before throwing down this mind-boggling through-the-legs dunk where he nearly hit his head on the rim:

Dr. J went into shock:

LaVine followed that up by putting the ball underneath him (not behind his back, underneath him!) and throwing it down again:

You could say Atlanta Hawks guard Jeff Teague was impressed:

And to cap it all off, LaVine caught a pass off the extension, then put it through his legs and in:

Finally, it appears we've got some hope for the future of the dunk contest. Just a ridiculously impressive showing from LaVine and Oladipo.
