That is, many responded to this including San Francisco 49ers cornerback Deommodore Lenoir, who went on Instagram Live with his reaction.

Lenoir essentially told his NFC West rivals not to trade their franchise wide receiver Metcalf, before then calling out other Seahawks receiver Jaxson Smith-Njigba.
"Y'all cannot let DK Leave. How am I going to have fun out there?"
Lenoir continued, "Njigba he be crying all day. That's all he do is cry... Crybaby."

In view of this, triggered Seahawks fans shot back at the four-year cornerback out of Oregon, as they reminded the 49ers player of a one-handed grab JSN had vs. him during the 2023 season (11/23/2023) in Seattle.

As for Metcalf wanting to leave the franchise, other teams around the league are chomping at the bit, hoping to acquire the 6-foot-4, 210 pound star wideout.
Metcalf has accumulated 900+ yards every season since being selected as the No. 64 overall pick in 2019.
To note, the Seahawks also released wideout Tyler Lockett earlier on Wednesday morning, who had spent all 10 seasons of his career in Seattle.
Considering this, Jaxson Smith-Njigba, who is entering his third year out of Ohio State, may certainly be the main target for the team next year, and will have both games vs. Lenoir and the San Francisco 49ers marked on his schedule for the upcoming 2025 season.
