49ers Fans Disgusted After First Half Performance

Despite being the defending Super Bowl champions, many people believed the 49ers would come out victorious over the Chiefs because of their depleted roster. But that was not the case as Patrick Mahomes and company jumped all over San Francisco in the first half and led 14-3 at the break.

The halftime result led to unhappy reactions from 49ers fans on social media.

"Zero heart zero effort. Brock scared. Deebo too bit** to play under the weather. Ayuik just sucks and needs to immediately reconstruct his contract and swap it with Jennings. The D coordinator is fn lost too. What a wasted season," one fan said on X, formerly known as Twitter.

"The 49ers are usually leading the Chiefs at halftime and blow it in the 4th quarter, so this is a different approach today," another user added.

Patrick Mahomes Gets Honest on Tom Brady Comparisons

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are on a mission to do something that no other team in NFL history has done, win three consecutive championships. As Mahomes continues to rack up the award he is starting to draw comparisons to NFL legend Tom Brady. When asked about the growing Brady comparisons, Mahomes said it's an honor just to be in the same conversation as him.

"It's honestly an honor," Mahomes said about being compared to Brady.

"I'm not saying that because you're sitting here. You did it the right way. I think more than even the Super Bowls, it was the consistency you showed every single year, every single day. You came to work, and you came to win. For me, it gives me something to chase [getting to seven Super Bowl championships]. It's going to be hard to get there, but I'll do my best trying to get there."
