You can never have enough of a good thing.
That's what the Dallas Cowboys think, anyway.,. Even though they have the NFL Rookie of the Year and Pro Bowler Dak Prescott behind center — and they have a competent veteran backup in Kellen Moore — Dallas remains on the prowl for quarterback depth.
The Cowboys, according to a report on DallasCowboys.com, were disappointed they didn't come away with a young, developmental signal caller in the draft, and have brought in a couple of undrafted free agents — Central Michigan's Cooper Rush and Florida's Austin Appleby — as a result.
That makes a lot of sense. The Cowboys are one hard hit away from losing Prescott, and while Moore is a solid backup, he's not the guy you want running the team long-term.
As a result, the Cowboys are in the market for another diamond in the rough — just like Prescott.
