Aaron Hernandez judge prevents contact with juror that allegedly lied

In early June, the Aaron Hernandez defense team questioned whether or not a juror was exposed to outside information before a trial where the former NFL star was convicted in the murder of Odin Lloyd.

The judge involved in the case has now prevented both sides from contacting the juror who "might have been untruthful during jury selection," according to Associated Press.

Hernandez's lawyer, James Sultan, reportedly received an anonymous tip that the juror had heard information about a double-murder case also involving Hernandez, according to the Associated Press report.

Hernandez was convicted for the murder of Lloyd in April and was sentenced to life in prison.
