Aaron Rodgers is calling this one for the old guys. When the Steelers visit the Bengals on Thursday night, Rodgers will face someone he can actually relate to. Namely, 40-year-old Joe Flacco.

It's a rare matchup between two quarterbacks who remember when flip phones were a thing and Instagram didn't exist.
"I think it's great for all the old guys," Rodgers said, via Steelers.com's Jim Wexell. "I know that when I watch other sports, maybe it's because I'm the older guy, but I tend to pull for the older guys to win championships. I've known Joe for a long time. He's been great coming to my charity event, he's been a great ambassador for the league, and it's fun that we're both still playing."
In Rodgers' first five games this season, the average age of the opposing quarterback was just 26.6. His youngest matchup? Dillon Gabriel, 24. His oldest? Carson Wentz, 32. So yeah, it's been a while since Rodgers went up against a peer.
Flacco, meanwhile, has made headlines for reflecting on his football mortality, admitting he plans to play until his body won't let him. Rodgers can relate.
Even Steelers veteran Cam Heyward couldn't resist jumping in on the fun, crashing Rodgers' media session to name the event himself. "Oldest quarterbacks playing this week. Let's go. Icy Hot Bowl. I love it," Heyward said.
At 36, Heyward's not far behind — and neither are Rodgers or Flacco in finding ways to keep the fire (and maybe the heating pads) going.
