Aaron Rodgers Speaks Out About Previous 'Gay' Rumors: 'I Really, Really Like Women'

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers, a four-time NFL MVP, has accomplished a lot on the football field throughout his 20-year career. That is to say, being in the spotlight oftentimes also includes some wacky rumors about someone's personal life, and in Rodgers' case, it was that he was gay.

The 40-year-old's new biography, "Out of the Darkness: The Mystery of Aaron Rodgers," (written by author/New York Post columnist Ian O'Connor) has been released, and in it the gossip revolving around Rodgers' sexuality was mentioned, as the NFL star talked about why he hated it so much.

"I think I was upset at the framing [of the rumor] because it was meant to shame the idea of being gay, and I have so many friends that are gay in the community."

The former Green Bay Packers QB once addressed these rumors while on a Milwaukee radio show back in 2013, as he was asked about it by co-host Jason Wilde.

"Yeah, I'm just going to say, I'm not gay. I really, really like women. That's all I can say about that," Rodgers said. "There's always going to be silly stuff out there in the media... Professional is professional, and personal is personal. And that's just how I'm going to keep it."

Ever since then, the Super Bowl winning quarterback made a splash on the Hollywood dating scene, as he has gone out with notable celebrities, such as Olivia Munn (2014 to 2017), Danica Patrick (2018-2020), and Shailene Woodley (2020-2022).

Then most recently, Rodgers was seen with 27-year-old model Mallory Edens, the daughter of Wes Edens, who is the owner of the Milwaukee Bucks.

All in all, no one probably still thinks that Rodgers is gay.
