Adam Sandler has done many things throughout his life. He has performed standup comedy, written and starred in comedic films, and branched into the world of thrillers. Now, he has even officiated a wedding.

Sandler took on this role on Friday during a high-profile event at Madison Square Garden. He officiated the wedding between pop star Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
A statement from Swift's publicist, Tree Paine, provided the confirmation on Friday evening. The publicist said that Sandler officiated the wedding, which did not feature bridesmaids or groomsmen.
Swift's brother, Austin, served as the Man of Honor. Former NFL defender Jason Kelce served as the Best Man for his brother.
This could appear to be an interesting connection, but the wedding is not the first time that Kelce and Sandler have crossed paths. The Super Bowl-winning tight end actually had a cameo in Sandler's film, Happy Gilmore 2.
This role featured Kelce dressing as a bus boy. He brought an Arnold Palmer to former pro golfer Jack Nicklaus, only to be informed by Bad Bunny that he had used the wrong type of gin.
This revelation sparked a confrontation between the two guest stars in the golf film, which Sandler's character witnessed. It also set up later scenes in the film, including a dream sequence where a bear attacks a shirtless and bound Kelce.
"I thought SNL was going to be the peak of my acting and showman or entertainment career," Kelce said about the cameo during an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show.
"Working with Happy Gilmore himself, the Sandman and Happy Productions, it was off the chain."
Kelce (most likely) kept his shirt on during his latest crossover with Sandler. Instead, he focused on celebrating with Swift, their families, and many of their friends in this major ceremony.
