Tua Tagovailoa's rough season somehow found a new low Sunday, and it played out in real time on national TV.

During NFL on CBS's broadcast of the Chiefs-Raiders game, studio host Adam Schein was giving a live game break update about Tagovailoa's second interception of the day.

Mid-sentence, he had to interrupt himself to announce that Tagovailoa had just thrown another one.

"Jim and Tony, when it rains, it pours for the Dolphins," Schein said. "This right here is Tua Tagovailoa's second pick of the game. It led to Quinshon Judkins and his third touchdown of the game. And, literally, as we speak, Tua threw another pick. 31-6 Browns. Thanks, Miami."

The moment was both brutal and perfectly symbolic of Miami's collapse. Tagovailoa threw three interceptions for the second straight week, completing just 12 of 23 passes for 100 yards with a career-low 24.1 passer rating.

The Dolphins were blown out 31-6 by a Browns team that hadn't scored more than 17 points in nearly a year.

Mike McDaniel benched Tagovailoa in the fourth quarter for rookie Quinn Ewers, who had never taken a regular-season snap. Afterward, McDaniel wouldn't commit to Tua as the starter, saying "everything is on the table."

A week earlier, Tagovailoa had publicly criticized teammates for skipping meetings before walking those comments back. Now he leads the NFL in interceptions with 12 and is on pace to throw 27 for the season.

It's gotten so bad that even the highlight updates can't keep up.
