Mike Vrabel hasn't played in the NFL for over a decade, but he still has some speed. He showed this off while chasing a New England Patriots player down the sidelines.

Vrabel, who took over as New England's head coach this season, began sprinting excitedly with 7:12 left in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game against the rival Miami Dolphins. He chased return man Antonio Gibson, who took a kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown. This gave the Patriots a 30-27 lead.

"Look at Vrabel," CBS Sports announcer Andrew Catalon proclaimed while watching the replay. "He still has some wheels getting down the sideline."
Analyst Jason McCourty also weighed after watching the replay. He joked about how Vrabel didn't sustain any soft-tissue injuries while chasing Gibson down the sidelines.
"I love this," one Patriots fan posted on X. "He is fired up we didn't see much emotion last year so I'm here for it." Other fans weighed in on social media and expressed their excitement about Vrabel's sprints. Although one joked that former head coach Bill Belichick did this all the time.
Sprint aside, the kickoff return proved to be a pivotal point in Sunday's AFC East game. The Patriots took the lead with seven minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. They then extended the lead to 33-27 after rookie Andres Borregales rebounded from two missed extra points with a late field goal.
The Patriots held on to score the win over the Dolphins. Vrabel celebrated his first win as a head coach while the Patriots moved to 1-1 on the season. They rebounded from a season-opening loss to the Raiders.
Meanwhile, the Dolphins fell to 0-2 after back-to-back losses to the Colts and Patriots. They moved into a tie for last place in the AFC East with the Jets.
The Patriots will now have a chance to move to 2-1 on the season with a matchup next weekend against the Pittsburgh Steelers. This presents another opportunity for Vrabel to show off his sideline sprints.
