Browns defenders take aim at "hoe" Jauan Jennings after loss

The San Francisco 49ers beat the Cleveland Browns on Sunday afternoon, but one prominent member of the offense caught some strays. One defender even called him a "hoe."

The player in question was receiver Jauan Jennings, who last week took a punch to the groin from Carolina Panthers safety Tre'von Moehrig. This week, defensive linemen Shelby Harris and Myles Garrett criticized Jennings after an on-field war of words.

"He's a hoe, and I want that known," Harris said in the locker room after the game. "Like I see why he got punched in the nuts, because he said some things that you should not say to another man, ever.

"But, like, I don't respect it because you say that then run behind your O-line. That's some real soft s—-, and I want that known. I see exactly why they punched him in the nuts, I'm surprised nobody punched him in the jaw yet."

The heated discussion took place during an injury timeout for Browns defender Maliek Collins, who had to be carted off of the field with a knee injury.

This heated discussion involved multiple members of the defense, including Garrett, who interjected himself into the situation.

Garrett, who registered his 19th sack of the season, took a calmer approach while discussing Jennings. He started by saying that he can't speak for how Jennings was raised before providing some more context about the on-field arguments.

"If you have nothing good to say, don't say something to somebody," Garrett said during a postgame press conference. "He had a lot to say that was demeaning and disparaging toward some of our players, and I was just trying to separate everybody.

"And I tried to go up and ask what the problem was, and he started coming at me. Some guys just roll like that, I don't feel like that belongs in the game."

Jennings did not make any friends during this game, but he put some points on the board. He caught four passes for 39 yards and one touchdown.
