The Houston Texans closed out the regular season on Sunday in an unexpected way. The defense delivered a last-second score courtesy of a "humongous human."

The play occurred with five seconds remaining in the fourth quarter. Indianapolis Colts rookie quarterback Riley Leonard dropped back and threw a pass to Josh Downs, who then threw a backward pass to Michael Pittman Jr.

The last-second play continued with Pittman throwing a backward pass to Leonard, who then fumbled. Texans defensive tackle Tommy Togiai picked up the ball and rumbled for 17 yards. He then dove into the end zone for his first career touchdown.

"He didn't get it earlier, Togiai got his touchdown after all," analyst JJ Watt yelled. Play-by-play man Ian Eagle then chimed in, saying that the team had scored "a humongous human touchdown to end the regular season."

The Texans had taken a 32-30 lead with seconds remaining in the game, but the big man touchdown pushed the score to 38-30 and ensured the team would end the regular season with 12 wins for only the second time in franchise history.

Togiai's play did not only pad the stat sheet. It also locked up the fifth seed in the AFC playoffs. The Texans will now kick off the wild card round by visiting the Steelers, who won the AFC North on Sunday night.

This is not the first time this season that the Texans defense has closed out a division game with a big man touchdown. The AFC South team also did so in Week 10.

Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence dropped back with seven seconds remaining in the fourth quarter. As he tried to navigate forward and throw a pass, Will Anderson Jr. sacked him from behind.

Lawrence fumbled the ball into the hands of Sheldon Rankins, who rumbled for 32 yards. Rankins crossed the goal line with no time remaining on the clock. This gave the Texans a 36-29 win and kicked off a nine-game winning streak.
