Hunt announced the news with an Instagram post. She uploaded several photos, including one of Derek Green down on one knee and popping the question.

It was always you 💍❤️♾️

"It was always you," Hunt wrote on her Instagram post. "'And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.' Romans 8:28."
Tavia Hunt, Gracie's mother, also celebrated the engagement with a post on her Instagram page. She uploaded the photos on Easter Sunday and added a message.
"Forever looks so beautiful on these two," she wrote. "On this holy weekend, we celebrate one of God's most beautiful gifts—the beginning of a covenant story.
"God brought these two together in such a special way, and our hearts are overflowing with joy. What He has written is already so good. We are so grateful for His hand in their lives and so excited for all that lies ahead."
The interesting twist is that this marriage will have even more of a Chiefs twist. Obviously, the Hunt family controls the Super Bowl-winning franchise, but there is another factor.
Green is the son of Trent Green. This name should sound familiar to Chiefs fans. After all, Trent spent six seasons as quarterback of the AFC West team between 2001-2006.
He earned two Pro Bowl trips while leading the team to an overall record of 48-40. This includes a 13-3 season in 2003.
The younger Green is also a quarterback. He played for SMU in the college ranks, and he appeared in 25 games over three seasons. He only attempted eight passes and two rushes.
