Patrick Mahomes' Shirtless 'Dad Bod' Photo Is Cracking Everyone Up

Even Patrick Mahomes couldn't help but laugh after a shirtless photo showing his 'dad bod' went viral on social media.

The Kansas is headed to Super Bowl LVIII after winning back-to-back road playoff games as underdogs, and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is dating the biggest music star in the world, Taylor Swift.

But the NFL world is now talking about a photo showing Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes shirtless. Here's the photo in question:

The picture comes from a segment on "Inside the NFL," where Mahomes says, "Great job today. Like I've been saying, we ain't done yet. Hey Chiefs on three," before the team comes together and counts it down.

This is a pretty standard locker room talk from the quarterback to his team. However, it's Mahomes' physique that's drawing attention.

Mahomes himself took to X in two separate posts to address the image.

"Yoooo why they have to do me like that!?!?!?" the two-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback said, with three laughing-face emojis and the hashtag "DadBodSZN."

He then quoted that post, adding, "Like i got kids!!!!" adding "@Chiefs @insidethenfl @NFL" and three more laughing emojis.

Fans on X had a field day with this picture.

"This is the ideal male body," one user wrote. "You may not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like."

"Is this real? Lol can't believe everything now," someone else wrote, with laughing emojis of their own.

"Ladies and gentlemen... we present you the greatest athlete in the National Football League," another X account wrote.

This postseason, Mahomes and the Chiefs beat the Miami Dolphins 26-7, the Buffalo Bills 27-24, and the Baltimore Ravens 17-10. He's thrown for 718 yards, four touchdowns and zero interceptions this postseason.

Kansas City will now take on the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday, Feb. 11, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, with kickoff time about 6:30 p.m. ET.
