Travis Kelce Just Gave Chiefs Fans a Heart Attack At Practice

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce terrified fans at practice by pretending to re-aggravate his knee injury before twerking.

The Kansas City Chiefs have anxiously been waiting for the return of superstar tight end Travis Kelce, who is already having some fun back on the practice field by twerking and faking re-injuring himself.

Prior to the start of the NFL season, Kelce suffered a hyperextended knee in practice just days before Kansas City's opener against the Detroit Lions. The star tight end ended up missing the Week 1 game, but appeared to have avoided long-term injury and is expected to be ready for Week 2.

However, when running out onto the field on Friday, September 15, Kelce decided to give Chiefs fans a quick heart attack by pretending to hurt his knee again. Shortly after pretending to limp, Kele turned the performance into a quick twerking session before going back to jogging across the field. You can watch the whole incident thanks to Jared Koller with KCTV5.

Kelce has always been a joker on and off the football field, and this is nothing new. He's been known to have all kinds of fun, including pranking his brother and Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce. His celebrity status has taken on a whole new level thanks to his larger-than-life personality over the last year, hosting Saturday Night Live and even being linked to a relationship with Taylor Swift.

On the field, Kelce has accumulated a ridiculous amount of accolades. Along with two Super Bowl rings, Kelce has been a seven-time All-Pro selection, eight-time Pro Bowl selection, and already holds multiple NFL records, including receiving yards in a season from a tight end with 1,416 yards in 2020.

While Kelce hasn't been able to see the field yet in 2023, expectations are sky-high for the Chiefs tight end to keep lighting up opposing defenses, starting with a Week 2 performance against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
